The Society has joined with other members of The Archaeology Forum to call on the Chancellor of the Exchequer and the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government to ensure that the country’s efforts to ‘build back better’ following COVID-19 do not weaken existing planning safeguards for the historic environment.
