Join us for a spectacular charity auction of contemporary artworks and 18th-century engravings to support the Society of Antiquaries digitisation of Library Collections
The Society of Antiquaries of London celebrates its 150th anniversary of moving to Burlington House with an exhibition, The Reign, during London Art Week. This exhibition features 20 new artworks created by Adam Dant and Dan Llywelyn Hall, inspired by items from the Society’s historic collection, as well as a selection of our 18th-century engravings. In this gala, you can exclusively bid for six of these works, with host auctioneer Matthew Haley, taking charge.

How the night will work:
Arrive at 6pm to register your intent to bid and enjoy champagne, wine, canapés and live music. Please note, bidding is not essential but encouraged.
Auction starts at 7pmin addition to the live auction at 7pm.
How bidding works:
Bidders will register their details with URS+LINLEY upon arrival and will be given a bidding paddle for the auction.
Successful bidders will be able to make payment on the evening and collect their piece the following day on 5 July from 11am–5pm.
Online bidding:
From early June, you can bid online for many of the works of art.
Please note, any works in the online auction are not available in the live auction and vice versa.
Funds raised from this exciting auction will support the cataloguing and digitisation of the Society’s collection of around 25,000 eighteenth and nineteenth-century prints and drawings.
