10am-4pm (last entry 3.30pm), free admission on selected Fridays
We are now open on most Fridays during term-time and would like to welcome visitors to our Burlington House premises. Drop in to enjoy a visit to the lower ground floor of our London premises and learn about our history, the rooms, and the collections within.
Our popular staircase tours take place at 12pm and 2pm, subject to staff and volunteer availability. Lasting 40 minutes, these engaging introductions to our history end with an opportunity to view the largest antiquarian library in the country, with an outstanding collection amassed over 300 years. Please note, these tours are not bookable in advance. Thank you for your understanding.
Open Fridays are part of our Sensing History at the Society of Antiquaries project, which is kindly supported by, National Lottery Heritage Fund, John Murray Charitable Trust, Movement For Good, & Museum Development London.
