Grant Programmes
The Society is charged by its Royal Charter of 1751 to support the furtherance of the study and understanding of antiquities in this and other countries. As a registered charity (207237) the Society has an obligation to promote and support conservation, research and dissemination among its Fellowship and the wider public. One way in which we meet these charitable objectives is through our grant programmes.
Applications for Church Conservation Grants are considered by the Society’s Morris Committee, which is composed of Officers of the Society and Fellows with relevant expertise Applications for Research and Travel Grants are considered by the Society’s Research Committee.
