Vulliamy Clocks at the Antiquaries

A Study Day

With Fellows Jonathan Betts and Roger Smith as well as clocks conservator Malcolm Archer

The fine 'Harrison-inspired' regulator by Gray & Vulliamy at the Society of Antiquaries in Burlington House, Piccadilly, is currently undergoing research and light cleaning.

There will be an opportunity to see the clock in pieces and hear a little about it from Society Fellows Jonathan Betts and Roger Smith, and conservator Malcolm Archer, at a seminar at the Society on Friday, 5 May. Principally for students of horology, the seminar is however open to all, on a first come, first served basis.

Programme:

10.30 - 11.00: Doors Open. We will be serving tea, coffee and light refreshments

11.00 - 15.00: Study Day.
