Securing 999 Years at Burlington House

We are asking you to help us at this extraordinary moment in the Society of Antiquaries’ history. After a long negotiation with the Government, the Society now has the opportunity to buy a 999-year lease for Burlington House on favourable terms. With your help, we can secure our long-term future in the home built for us 150 years ago.

This 999-year lease gives us the security to plan our future. With your help we can improve provision for our Fellows, Affiliates and Visitors; offer better access to our building, and provide a foundation to develop our long-term strategic plans.

The lease cost is £5.581 million for 12,5000 square foot, at £500 per square foot. If you can sponsor a square foot or more, you will help the Society…
