As part of your visit to the Manor, visit our licensed Tearoom and enjoy morning coffee or delicious home-cooked food, including hot and cold light meals, soups, cakes and cream teas. We also offer vegetarian options.

We hold a five-star (excellent!) food hygiene rating and have a policy of sourcing—where possible—local and fair-trade supplies.

Tearoom Hours

The Tearoom is open April to August, from 10.30am to 5pm on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

12.00noon - 2.30pm: Lunch is served.

2.30pm - 5.00pm: Cream teas are served.

We sell ice cream! (and a lot more)

When possible, our Catering Manager, Janet, uses freshly picked herbs and fruit from the Manor’s own garden, including apples, quinces, mulberries and damsons to supply visitors with delicious home-made refreshments.

For any special dietary enquiries, please get in touch in advance of your visit; Janet and her team will try to help if they possibly can.

The Tearoom is located in an attractive old barn, accessible at ground-floor level and has no steps. We also have a tranquil tea lawn area with lots of seating located alongside a picturesque stream that runs throughout the grounds. We offer many wheel-chair accessible picnic benches and a high chair for our younger visitors.

We welcome well-behaved dogs, but ask respectfully that dog-owners use the picnic benches at the outer-edge of the tea lawn (nearest the stream) and keep dogs on a lead at all times. We offer water for our canine friends to the side of the exterior of our shop.

Afternoon Tea

We offer Afternoon Tea (sandwiches, cakes, and scones) for up to a maximum of six people served from 2.30pm but this must be booked in advance and by 12 noon on the day. £11.25 per person. Call 01367 252486 and speak to a member of staff.
