We are open from April to October, Thursday to Saturday from 10.30am to 5pm with timed entry for the manor house at 15 minute intervals to make sure your experience is enjoyable.
Timed Tickets for Manor Entry & Access to the Rest of the Premises
Your timed ticket slot is for entrance to the manor house only. You can visit the gardens, meadows, shop and tearoom either before or after your timed ticket entry into the manor house.
The estate opens at 10.30am and closes at 5pm. The manor house opens at 11am with last admission at 4pm.
Visiting the Gardens and Shop Only
If you want to only visit the gardens and grounds, entrance is free. Any donations are always gratefully received.

Please note that tickets are also available to purchase on the day from our ticket hut if slots are sold out online. Unfortunately, tickets are non-refundable.
Concessionary & Free Entry
Historic Houses members cannot pre-book free tickets but free admission is available when arriving on site on presentation of a valid membership card. Historic Houses members wanting to use their card to visit for free can be accommodated but may have to wait for an available slot.
Society Fellows and Affiliate Members cannot pre-book their tickets online. Tickets are available for every timed slot during the day from our ticket hut and can be purchased on arrival to the manor. Please have your Library cards with you as proof of being a Fellow or Affiliate Member.
