The Thames Tunnel: Brunel's First Project
Lecture by Robert Hulse (Director of The Brunel Museum)
Brunel is the 'Man who Changed the World'. The Thames Tunnel is birthplace of the tube and changed the shape of our cities. The ss Great Eastern, five times bigger than anything else afloat, is the ancestor of today’s bulk carriers and changed the shape of the world.
