This Halloween we have a special showing of the 1932 film The Mummy, in support of cataloguing the Society’s Early Printing Blocks, as well as a display of Egyptian related material, which can be seen in our Library before the screening.
Each ticket will also adopt a printing block as a bonus!
Tickets are £20 and include 1 free drink.
Timetable for the night:
5.30pm: Special display of material relating to Egyptian discoveries, including Rosetta Stone engravings. Drinks available in the Council Room.
6.30pm: Karl Freund’s THE MUMMY (1932), starring Boris Karloff, a tale about a 1921 archaeological expedition that goes horribly wrong.
7.45pm: End of event
