Our team

Meet the team at Burlington House

The Society of Antiquaries of London is governed by an elected Council of Fellows. However, the Society employs several full-time and part-time staff members (and many volunteers!) to ensure effective and efficient management of the Society’s many operations and charitable programmes.

We manage the largest antiquarian library in the UK at Burlington House, as well as an extensive museum collection. We also hold regular proAccorgramming for Fellows of the Society and public audiences such as conferences, debates and lectures focused on the material past. To operate, we also need to effectively manage our finances, fund raise, and deal with a number of other administrative duties. This is the wonderful team that makes it all function behind the scenes!

Staff at Burlington House will be continuing to work remotely and will only attend Burlington House as and when required. If you need to speak to a member of staff you can find all email contact details below by clicking on the relevant person. If you need to speak to a member of staff in person please email in advance to check their availability and to make an appointment.

From September 8th there will be a staff presence on site throughout the week but access to Burlington House is restricted to appointment only.
