As part of its commitment to the widest dissemination of research the Society is digitising its backlist of research reports and other monographs and making these available as open access (OA) publications through Open Access Publishing in European Networks (OAPEN) and the Archaeology Data Service (ADS).
Based in The Netherlands at the National Library in The Hague, OAPEN is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to open access peer-reviewed books.
The ADS, based at the University of York, is the accredited digital repository for UK heritage data.
