In line with new Government restrictions the Society will be closed to Fellows, Library users and the public from November 5th.

Library staff will continue to respond to email enquiries sent to [email protected] during this time. We will endeavour to supply postal loans and photocopies, or scans as before, though please be aware we will have a reduced staff on-site. We apologise for any potential delays in receiving your requests.

We kindly ask you not to post any book returns or donations to the Library until we are able to reopen.

The Library provides Fellows with online access to around 100 subscription e-resources, including e-journals and online databases such as the ODNB, JSTOR and Grove Art Online, and over 700 ebooks published by Archaeopress. These can all be accessed through the Library catalogue. You can also use your Library catalogue account to renew your loans, request postal loans and request photocopies or scans.

Enquiries relating to our museum collection should be sent to [email protected]

Our lecture series will continue online only. You can book all our upcoming lectures through our website. Our full event programme and booking information is available on our website here.

Staff at Burlington House will be continuing to work remotely and will only attend Burlington House as and when required. If you need to speak to a member of staff you can find all email contact details here.

We thank you for your patience and understanding and we wish everyone well in these very uncertain times.
